Workflow for gpx traces(english below)
Voy a exponer un pequeño flujo de trabajo que empleo para manejar mis trazas gpx
Programas necesarios:
JOSM (plugin utilsplugins)
viking
1. VIKING. Abrir la traza gpx con viking
2. Añadir New map layer, mapnik, alpha 125, autodownload
3. En los sitios donde no hay datos debajo, edit trackpoint y split here
4. Eliminar las Tracks que van sobre sitios ya mapeados
5. Una vez troceado, seleccionar la capa TrackPoint y exportar como gpx
6. JOSM. Abrir josm con la traza original y la exportada
7. Seleccionar la capa troceada y darle a convert to data layer
8. Seleccionar las vías generadas y darle a simplify way
9. Descargar datos de osm y etiquetar al gusto.

This is my workflow to handle my gpx traces when new roads are created.
Programs needed:
JOSM (plugin utilsplugins)
viking
1. VIKING. Open the gpx trace using viking
2. Add New map layer, mapnik, alpha 125, autodownload
3. In the empty places, with no map data down, "edit trackpoint" and "split here"
4. Delete the tracks in locations already mapped
5. When done, select the TrackPoint layer and export as gpx
6. JOSM. Open josm with the original trace and the splited one
7. Select the viking trace and "convert to data layer"
8. Select all the generated ways and "simplify way"
9. Download data from osm and tag properly.

Primeras ediciones
(english below)
Ya están subidas las trazas con cerca de 150k puntos nuevos, así mismo ya he comenzado la edición de alguna de las trazas, la parte fácil es añadir carreteras nuevas y la parte complicada es etiquetar el mogollón de fotos que he ido tomando como referencia, especialmente motorway_junctions
Además estoy contento ya que he podido actualizar un gran tramo recien abierto al público de la nueva autopista A-206, antes primary CL-206.

I have already uploaded the traces from my recent trip, near 150k new points, also i have started to edit some of the traces. Easy part is to add new roads and the tricky part is to tag the big mess of geo referenced pics i have take, specially the motorway_junctions
Also im very happy because i have updated a big chunck of the very new highway A-206, formerly the old primary CL-206

Lots of dragons to discover

Por fin llegan las vacaciones y estas incluyen un viaje de más de 2000km cruzando la península de arriba hacia abajo. Y lo mejor de todo mi base de operaciones en Lanjarón, Granada está prácticamente en blanco

Adding motorway junctions to A-6

Tenía pendientes de procesar las salidas de la autopista A6 en dirección Coruña y al llegar a la zona de Medina he visto que la mayoría de carreteras de esa zona, y que conozco bien, no están trazadas y ni siquiera disponen de trazas gpx. Afortunadamente con el Landstat y gracias a que la zona de Campos es bien plana ha sido fácil añadir algunas.
La sorpresa ha sido al llegar a Valladolid ya que la cobertura de Yahoo ha mejorado llegando incluso a los 200m así que estoy aprovechando para trazar bastantes cosas de allí.

I had a lot of tracks to process, including the highway junctions in the A6 towards Coruña, but when i have arrived to the Medina zone i have discovered that the main roads in that zone are no traced and even they have no gpx traces. Fortunately, the Landstat and the plain orography in Campos zone have made easy to add some of them.
The surprise arrived near Valladolid, the Yahoo resolution is real good, even 200m so im tracing a lot of things there because its well known for me.

Navarra norte y Sur de Francia
Mapping following n-121, several nice places like Igantzi, Lesaka, Bera and going through France.
Added ref to france highways and changed from secondary to tertiary but maybe French people uses diferent notation.

Siguiendo la orilla del Bidasoa mapeando alrededor de las dos N-121, la a y la b, bonitos pueblos como Lesaka o Igantzi
Paso la frontera de Francia y voy a la busqueda del tren de la Rhune, añado referencias a las carreteras y las cambio de secondary a tertiary, pero puede que los franceses osmeros esten empleando otra notación.

600km to process
[En Español abajo]
I very long trip today and lots of ways to process. But i noticed a lot of new things.
-Im planifying my route trying to avoid places already in the map
-After a change in the way back I went back using OSM map instead of Google Maps on the Maemo Mapper, and using a lot of ways not mapped by me.
-The paper maps were obsolete, a lot of recently built highways were not present but OSM rules
-And lots of new places to add, now without dragons, leprechaums and other stuff.

Una excursión larga hoy para ver a mis padres y un montón de ways para procesar, pero lo más importante, he visto que han cambiado muchas cosas.
-Ahora planifico mis rutas tratando de esquivar las rutas que ya están en el mapa.
-Después de alterar mi camino de vuelta a última hora volví usando los tiles de Mapnik en vez de Google Maps en el Maemo Mapper, y usando muchas muchas cosas no hechas por mí.
-Los mapas de papel estan obsoletos, muchas autopistas de reciente construcción no estaban reflejadas, sin embargo OSM mola.
-Y lo más divertido, gran cantidad de sitios nuevos que añadir en los que podemos afirmar que no hay dragones, leprechaums u otras criaturas míticas

Mallorca
Taking a look at the Mallorca traces and asking for help to some friends living there. http://mitago.net/archives/2008/03/10/T20_16_44/index.html
Fortunately the main city has good YWMS photos so I will add some mapping inthere. Also im defining the coastline.

Además, por suerte, Palma y alrededores tienen fotos de YWMS de muy buena resolución, así que mapear la ciudad con los nombres de las calles que conozco puede ser fácil.
De paso estoy definiendo algo más la coastline usando las mismas fotos.

Main roads
Lots of gpx uploads and fixing in the main roads, usually traced very roughly and now adjusted to the gpx track. A-1, A-2, A-6, N-I, N-II and the traversal A-231
Still a track near Vitoria is marked as N-I trunk instead of a double way motorway A-1
Also some pending tracks near Valladolid.
Definitly is needed to add the source tag to know the fiability of the tracks
